Design Challenge: Create an informative, textbook style book about an aspect of typography. Use the principles of typography to form the different parts of a book including the cover, end pages, table of contents, chapter pages and body text.

Design Process and Solution: This process began with research about different topics focusing on typography, and I chose the topic of printing history and the development of typefaces. I assembled a mood board and sketched multiple style ideas and layouts. A grid base was used to layout the pages and overall flow of the book. The color palette was inspired by classical text books, as shown on the mood board.

Software: Photoshop and InDesign were the programs used to create this book.
